6 months!

Well I guess she is more like 6 and a half months now!
Lots of new things this month! First off we have started solids! We started with oat cereal and here she is eating for the very first time. We tried peas next (homemade and earth's best organic) and she wasn't really into either one then we tried apples (just earth's best) and she wasn't really into that either. Then I tasted them and thought they were kind of gross too so now we are doing just oat cereal and unsweetened apple sauce and that she loves! Next on the menu is sweet potatoes! We will see what she thinks of those.
hmm what is in there?
ok thanks I can feed myself now!

such a joy this little one!
Got her first tooth!
She was bouncing in this and I was sitting on the couch by her and didn't hear her bouncing anymore so I looked over and she had just fallen asleep within two seconds! Of course I took her picture and as soon as the flash went off she popped her head up, looked around, and started bouncing again!

Her first tooth is growing day by day and as of yesterday her second tooth is starting to make itself known. I just took these pictures tonight. 27 weeks old or 6 months and 2 weeks. Doesn't she have the most expressive eyebrows? She totally gets those from her dad!

She gives us this look a lot. Raising her eyebrows as if she is saying, "Yes, can I help you?"
She is really close to being able to sit up by herself and tonight I went to lay her down on her tummy four different times and each time she pulled her knees under and kept her arms straight like she was ready to start crawling! I am really ok with her not doing that just yet. We had some friends over for dinner last night and their daughter is 9 months old and walking which really gave me an idea of what things in our house are going to seem fun for Audra when she gets more mobile! Yikes! I mean where am I supposed to put Lucy's food and water where she can get it and Audra can't!??

Lets see what else... oh yes she has been using the toilet some! haha! she has no idea what is going on but if i can tell she has to go i just put her on there and boy does it save a mess! especially now that she is eating food! Hopefully she doesn't hate me someday for posting this!

I have also noticed this month that gone are the innocent baby days of her only crying because she is hungry or tired. This girl definitely knows what she wants and sometimes she cries just because she doesn't get it! Oh that old sin nature just comes out so early!

The only other new thing I think she is doing is getting used to a sippy cup which she mostly bites on but every so often she drinks out of it. She also loves to drink water just straight out of a regular cup now. I think mostly because she sees us doing it.

Just can't believe how big our sweet little baby is getting! It is incredible to see her growing and changing so quickly and I just feel so blessed to be her mom and to get to take care of her everyday!

I have thoroughly enjoyed spending the last 10 minutes looking through and reading your last several posts! Love knowing whats going on with you and the fam! I tell you what...that little girl of yours is something so special! How can you stand her cuteness!? She is really growing fast. If you love things now, it just gets better and better. For me, the first 6 months are cute and all of a baby but once Asher hit 6 months I said it can't possibly get more fun than this and then I found my self saying that EVERY MONTH for the next 2 plus years! I love being a mommmy!! I can't wait to welcome our new baby boy soon!

So those neat things you make....what exactly comes in that set of three....a birp cloth, blanket and diaper/wipe carrier? I couldn't totally tell. How much would a pack of those three things cost?
