Visit from the Bolens!

The Bolen family came to visit this last weekend and we had so much fun! I don't think we have had the time to really connect with our friends since we moved to cali so it was super great to have a nice chunk of time with them! Oh and to get my Klaire kisses in! Love her! Even after they left Andrew and I were still singing Klaire songs! Mark, Jennilee & Eli were able to drive down one of the days to hang out too! We went to the zoo, played at the pool, played at the beach, went to Piatti, went on walks, Amanda and I got pedicures and massages and pretty much just relaxed in general! It was too hard to narrow down my favorites enough for a post since between all of us we took 500 pictures so I made an album on picasa instead. Click here too see more!
On another note I am soo glad that tax season is over! I can't believe how long it has been since I posted! I'm starting to feel more relaxed and getting back into the swing of life again! This Friday Andrew and I fly to Oregon for Kelly's graduation from George Fox. Go sister! I will get to be home for a whole week and that will be so nice. I haven't been home since Christmas and I miss my family! Hopefully I will take time to post while in Oregon otherwise it may be a couple more weeks again! Sorry! I know how much I love reading everyone else's blogs!

Not sure if you have noticed

but pretty much all of my posts are about the weekends or vacation! Do all of ya'll think I live the life of the rich and famous and spend all my days in the sun? Well just in case you have begun to get a distorted view of the life I lead. This:
is where I spend a majority of my waking hours! (Please excuse the quality of photography in this post as all of these pictures were taken with my cell phone). Do you get to kill your vision with dual monitors for hours at a time! I know not many of you do so you can go back to being envious of the fabulous life I lead. ha ha. You must however notice the Martha boards I made in the background! I suppose I can't wallow too long in self pity when I get to see this driving home.Or this too.
And praise the Lord that I even have a job and that it provides as well as it does while my hubby gets his masters. God is good!

Weekend with the Mildrens

The Mildren gang drove down this weekend and we had so much fun!! Here are some pictures from the weekend!
Andrew got some snuggle time in with Eli! He is just such a sweet baby! It was really cute to see how much he love the little doggies! Lucy would walk up to him and he would just start giggling and would hold his hand out and Lucy would lick it and then he would grab her hair, and I mean both hands grabbing hair on either side of her face, with strong grip, and she would just pull away! I loved seeing how patient Lucy was with Eli and how much fun Eli thought Lucy was! I hope when we have babies someday they will find Lucy just as entertaining!
Mark and Andrew got some wave time in while Jennilee and I got some shopping in!
Lucy loved having Shadrach here! They are the best of buds and play so well together! They spent most of the time playing and playing and running around together and playing tug a war and running some more! They are actually calm and just hanging out in this picture!
Ok I guess we got two calm ones!Here is what they did most of the time!
We got in some BBQing by the pool!

I got in some snuggle time with Eli. Even though I look like a cartoon in this picture! :)


And got in a walk down in La Jolla.
I think Lucy is a little depressed that Shadrach had to go home!
