Audra's first pool adventure!

We went to the pool today for a bit to get out of the house. Audra napped in the moby wrap with me in the shade while andrew and my mom laid out and got some swimming in. I loved carrying her in the moby, I'm a happy mommy to have my baby so close and napping:)
Just the top of her head peaking out!

First week with our sweets

Leaving our first visit with the pediatrician. She is one healthy babe!

Lucy keeping watch. She's been so cautious and gentle around Audra. I think she can sense that she is precious cargo.

With her grandma. Eternally grateful for my mom's help these weeks, not sure what we would have done without her !
Her first bath!

Our little family, minus the pup!
Can't believe we've had our little girl for a whole week now, and it's still not even her due date! Loving these extra days with her!

The Nursery!

We are getting really close to welcoming our baby girl and are feeling organized and ready for her! I thought I would finally post pictures of her room. I still have to sew tie backs for the curtains but other than that everything is done! The bumpers I got for a great price from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child. I was going to sew them but they were so marked down it wasn't worth buying the materials! I sewed the curtains and the crib skirt out of duvet covers I bought from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child too!

I can't tell you how much I love just sitting in the glider relaxing in her room and thinking about how soon she will be here!

More love for the girl

A few of my dear friends down here in southern california threw me a lovely baby shower this last Sunday! Andrew and I have felt overwhelmingly blessed throughout this whole pregnancy by all the love for our family and our soon to be born baby girl! It was at our apartment and Sarah and Kelly came over early to get food in the oven and finish last minute preparations and I stayed out of their way!
Didn't they do a fabulous job! Julia brought all of the beautiful flowers! It turned out so beautifully!

Me and my party planner friends!
Me and my mama! I was so excited that she was able to be there! It just so happened that she had work down here and in fact will be in Malibu area this whole next week!

She is seriously one blessed baby girl!
