Cuties!

I got to spend some time with Annie and Jennilee and their sweet babies this last Saturday. I have been meaning to post a couple of pictures but with work and Bible study the last two nights I am finally getting around to it! Amanda are you coming down yet? Is tax season almost over yet? Because I am ready for a vacation now!
I don't know why but I always forget to get pictures with friends lately! Oh well next time! Here are a couple of the cute boys so styling in their hoodies:

Nick & Annie's little Colin
Mark & Jennilee's Eli

Then on Sunday Andrew and I stopped by his cousin Heidi's house on our way to church and got to see her two boys, Jeff and James. We played play dough and hungry hippos and just got to be silly with them for a bit! Then as James and I were sitting at the table drinking our apple juice he held his sippy cup towards me and said cheers! so cute! so we clinked our apple juice!

I Love Martha

Both of these crafts are Martha inspired! These two on the left are fabric covered cork board. I bought them at Walmart for $3 and spray painted the frames black then covered the cork with what used to be a place mat from Crate & Barrel! I think they turned out pretty cute! I think I will take them to work with me since number one they don't match anything in my house, number two I don't have anything cute in my office and number three well I guess they are just pretty and I'm looking forward to having something pretty at work. :)

This bag is from Martha's website. She has a tutorial for making bags out of pillowcases. I was hoping to find a cute vintage pillow case but found none. This was from Ikea's "as is" bins and will be great for the beach because it was a pretty heavy fabric. I love the "as is" section it is like convenient garage saleing (sp?) since we have one right across the street from us. Most days all they have is junk but every so often you find a treasure!

Happy Love Day!

As we close out on Valentines Day I wanted to do a quick post to wish everyone a happy end to Love day! The chocolates on the left are from Andrew's mama. Yummy yummy!
My honey brought me a sweet card and roses and we just finished eating our yummy steaks! We used to go out but it has become such a busy night for restaurants we opt to stay home most years now. What do you do to celebrate?

Family vacation in SD!

Daniel is still here tonight and doesn't leave until tomorrow so we get to hang out with him a little more! This first picture was actually from last weekend. My parents and Daniel flew into Anaheim Saturday night. So Andrew and I drove up and stayed at Kyle and Alissa's and got to spend some time with the fam last weekend. Kelly flew into San Diego on Thursday and my parents and Dan drove down from Anaheim on Friday night. All six of us in our two bedroom apartment! It was cozy but super fun and just perfect for a weekend! I just found out a couple of weeks ago that my family was going to come down and I think they found out not long before that. It was one of those God things that worked out so perfectly we know we couldn't have even planned better! My mom, dad and daniel were down for work and kelly came down for fun just because it would have been sad to have all of us together just without her! Here we are at dinner on Friday night in Leucadia at a yummy restaurant called Vigiluccis!
On Saturday morning we woke up and had Starbucks by the pool. We could not have asked for better weather! It has been so cold lately! At least by San Diego standards so it was great to have a weekend of high 70's! I know all you northwest people are laughing. We took the family on the Torrey Pines hike and it was a great day for it. My shins are still sore! Not from hiking the trails but for climbing the hill to get to the trails! The views from the trails are just amazing!

We even got to see four dolphins surfing the waves. Here is one doing a flip it was one of the coolest things I have ever seen! It is always a different experience seeing animals in the wild.
Before dinner we went to La Jolla Shores to watch the sunset and take some pictures before we went to dinner at Piatti! We actually took a family picture for our family valentine but that is yet to be revealed:) Here are a couple of kelly and andrew being silly!

Andrew and Dan. AMAZING sunset. Anyone else wanna come visit us yet?:)
LOVE my sister! Can I keep her? She could live in my pocket?:)
After dinner the boys stayed up to watch a movie. Kelly and I passed out watching tv in Andrew and I's room since we weren't into Collateral. After the movie Andrew walked in and told Kelly she could just stay and he would sleep on the sectional with Daniel. I have the nicest hubby ever!
It was such a treat to have my whole family come and visit and to get a taste of our life down here. I wish they could have stayed forever! Only two more months and we will be back up in Oregon to watch Kelly graduate from George Fox!
