Oregon Trip part 1

I can't believe it has been a month since I have blogged! We have been a little busy and it may take me a while to catch up! :) At the end of July we took a trip up to Oregon to see family and seriously had just the best time! Audra and I flew up and Andrew and Lucy drove up since Andrew didn't know if he was going to be able to come until the last minute.

I was really looking forward to this trip because Audra was going to meet so much of her extended family!

The first night we got there we stayed at my parents. Almost everyone you see in the second picture down stayed there. It was crazy and fun! People were everywhere and it was a little reminiscent of the movie Home Alone the night before they all fly out.

Here is Audra with all of her grandparents and great grandparents! The group shot! Minus Kelly and Josh. In addition to meeting her Bachran great grandparents Audra also got to meet her great auntie Becky, Celia and her great uncle Matt! So fun! It was such a treat to share her with everyone!
The next morning before we all loaded up and left for Sisters, Oregon the Ped girls stopped by. It is always such a treat to see them and to get to meet their new sister who just came from China not too long ago!Andrew and Daine got to ride together and have some fun brother time while Audra and I got to ride with Kelly.
The house we stayed in was incredible and we will definitely be staying there again! This view was right out the back of the house!! Unreal! To be able to just look out and see the three sisters and fall asleep hearing the cows mooing was such a dream! It was super hot during the day and in the evening we got to enjoy thunder and lightning storms! I even heard a coyote for the first time when I woke up to feed Audra one night, kinds creepy!
We pretty much unloaded the car and headed to the pool. It was so hot you had to be in the pool if you were outside!

Audra was loving it!
She now loves to give kisses too!! It is the cutest thing ever! If you ask her for kisses she will grab your face and plant her open mouth on you!

There was even a hammock!

Sometimes we get a little bit silly!Audra got some snuggle time with her Auntie Kelly
The next morning being silly with her grandpa!
Hanging out with her great grandpa too!
Then of course that day we went back to the pool! Kelly and I doing our best imitation of Audra.
Goodness she is so cute it just kills me!

When she gets a little sleepy she just puts her thumb in her mouth and lays her head down. Such a little sweet pea!
While we girls were enjoying the Sisters pool the boys were off at one of the Black Butte pools! They left while little miss Audra was taking a nap and for her sake I'm kind of glad we just went to the little Sisters pool where it wasn't as crowded!
That evening we celebrated a few things! We celebrated my grandma turning 80, my grandparents 60th anniversary, and my grandpa's 83rd birthday!
This picture was during one of many rounds of Pearly Shells that took place that trip! Seriously that song is like a light switch with Audra. She can be doing anything and if you start singing that song she stops what she is doing and starts smiling!

The whole gang!

Another amazing sunset that night
The next day my mom, Auntie Becky, Audra and I took a walk into Sisters and got Audra a little book from the book store and then went to the fabric store there. So I was telling my mom that day that my new favorite fabric designer is Valori Wells. Well we get to the Stichin' Post and I am excited that they have so much of her stuff. Come to find out she is part owner of the store!! So many beautiful quilts there with tags on them that say made by Valori Wells! Are you kidding me! I was in fabric heaven! I loaded up on lots of goodies tax free of course, more on that later!

Later that afternoon my mom treated us to a coffee date! Meaning she watched Audra and paid for us to go! Really unless you don't live by family you have no idea how valuable something like this is!

On our walk home we saw this:
and this! Almost felt like we were stealing such a sweet moment taking this picture! Mama deer feed their babies too!
Another AMAZING sunset!! Could never tire of these.
We also did a few puzzles, played some rowdy rounds of Bunko and a few rounds of Uno too. It was such a blessing to be able to unwind and enjoy time with people we love!
