So this was my last project for 1st year of grad school....which was kinda nice, considering this one took forever. I enjoyed it thoroughly, but the scale of the project was huge. For those of you who are interested it was 1/4 inch=1 foot. Which means the project was big! We had to design a building with residential units, some commercial space and fit them together on a parcel of land with a limited amount of square footage. The actual site was in the South Bay area, which for those of you who don't know is considered rougher area of town. My concept was community gathering since the area is made up of primarily Hispanic people, who are in general very community oriented. Without really getting into it, some how my project reflects that. anyways had a lot fun with it and here are some pics to look at.-Andrew
